Linear perspective was discovered when Brunelleschi discovered that shaped everything receded towards a vanishing point and seemed to disappear once it reached it. One point perspective is made by making sure objects all have lines angled towards the vanishing point, like how when you look at tiles on a ceiling they seem to get smaller. I used one point perspective with shapes to make them look like they stretched far into the distance.

At first, I thought the greenware clay had a really weird texture, but i soon figured out how to get past it. The elasticity of the clay was really nice, it made sure that i wouldn't do anything by accident in my haste. Pressing textures and patterns into the clay was also fun. When the clay of my creations was leather hard, I went over it with a wet sponge to smooth out any cracks i could. When it was bone dry, it was fired in the kiln so it could turn into bisque pottery. I really enjoyed glazing the pottery, there were so many fun colors to use!
I learned how to show realism through brushstrokes, and also how to shade things well. Designing the cakes was also very fun.
